Subject: bathroom vents
ID: 1
Message: I am not a professional, but I can see problems with this right off... if one bathroom is venting into a multi-bathroom system, it would vent into the other bathrooms as well as an outdoor vent. The only way I could think of doing this would be to have one blower do all the air movement for all bathrooms at the same time.
I am planning to connect an air exchange system up in our earth shelter house that will remove air from 2 bathrooms, the cook top and one other input at the same time. It will be turned on automatically via a thermostat and there will be manual timer switches in each toilet and near the cook top. The manual timer switch in the toilet will only be set for up to 5 or 8 minutes and the timer near the cook top will be capable of more... maybe 45 minutes or 2 hours... I am not sure yet.
