Message: Adding some rebar and other strengthening stuff, I poured the cement and let it set over night. I kept it wet to ensure a slower more secure set in the cement, thus the hose and water all over.

Once set and ready, the block came out very nicely.

The block is wider on the bottom to spread out the load of the weight of the cabin over a larger area of ground.

These blocks were heavily sealed then buried in the ground with the blocks setting on top of them with mortar. The rebar sticking up fixed solid to the cement that filled the blocks. It made a really solid heavy piece of cement when it was done!!
